Just joined the forum and will be getting my NVT 650,next week.
Bike is a bit tired having been sat in a garage since 2002 with only 5,600 miles on it.
It will need all the rubber bits replacing,I should imagine as well as the brakes doing and a repair or replacement of the radiator.The seller says the rad has a leak.
I,m looking forward to enjoying some later summer riding after last swinging a leg over a bike back in 1994 after 2 years as a courier rider.
So,point me in the direction of the cheap spares!! lol.

hi ralphtown,, welcome to site.. lots of help here and friendly welcome.. ebay seems a good of source of spares.. sometimes they list whole bike breaking you can email them for parts you require they can list buy now for you.. members can help with some spares also....  welcome back to biking.. cheers the slug..  |

Thanks chaps I,ve decided against the bike on ebay. My priorities have changed for the moment as my youngest daughter has just been admitted to Northampton General,after having issues with her heart. She,s only 22. But as soon as we know she,s out of danger,I,ll be hunting down a nice 650. So,if you know of a NTV in good condition but "reasonably" priced,feel free to let me know. RALPH. |
