hi deedee ,,whoooo! real time warp ntv.. must be one of the lowest mileage bike around..will get a lot of bids.. sometimes i think that a bike that has been ridden and serviced regularly with high milage is better than one which has been stored for a long period of time..sound like bike needs a good full service plus carb clean.. cheers the slug..

Levers look like it's been dropped and the wear on the frame by the footpegs looks similar to my 89,000 mile bike....

Ok, she 'found' it at her granddad's house after I assume his death. So no way of knowing if it's been 5627 Miles or 105627 Miles. Seeing the condition of the bike I guess it's one of two options: Her granddad really didn't take care of the bike, or it's been 105627 Miles.
In the worst case someone has fiddled with the clocks. Such low mileage with this condition doesn't seem to make any sense.

Sorry guys:- Spotted it early one morning & posted it before I left! Just studied images properly, (Really must get down the opticians.) images are a little on the indistinct size! Also the description is a little on the indistict side once studied too...

Personally I think that one is definately a duffer! I would say definately on it`s second time around the clock, as Sear says, bent levers and wear on the frame, matt finish to the plastics, missing graphics from the side panels, and if you look below the headstock you can see that the loom is hanging down. I could go on and on and on and........... Also, if Grandpappy is the only owner from new, why is only what sounds like the new keepers part of the log book present??? I would say the seller is a brainless blagger that thinks they`re a d**n sight cleverer than they really are. I hope some one doesn`t get too badly stung on this one and right now (10.00am 28/6/13) I`d say it`s reached what it`s worth, £280.00. Just having a bit of a rant as I`ve had the misfortune over the last couple of years of dealing with some of the a``holes lurking about on ebay that are trying to wipe one up the rest of us. Rant over!

fair enough to them if they're just not the bike type and assumed that what they were presented with was correct, but I wouldn't pay over 280 for it

I've reread the description page, including the; 'Questions & Answers'. (It's refreshing to see eBay sellers posting; 'Questions and Answers'.) Thankfully Samantha's grandad is still looking for the V5. (26-Jun-13) Interesting title:- "1995 HONDA NTV650 BLACK WITH ONLY (5627 MILES) ONE OWNER FROM NEW" If you take away bracketed milage from the title you're left with; 1995 HONDA NTV650 BLACK WITH ONLY ONE OWNER FROM NEW In the description:- The eBay box; 'Item specifics' gives opportunity to quote; 'Milage'. (There are twelve bikes came up, (At this time.) in a search for; 'NTV' Only one of the eleven sellers didn't feel the milage a selling point?) Written description does say; 'WITH ONLY 5627! MILES ON THE CLOCK' Third image of the clock indeed has 05627 reading on the odometer. I assume nobody has questioned it yet, as it is not in the Q&A's... And a quick update:- Right now (02.11am 01/07/13): - £:410 - 19 bids. (109 watchers!) Check for watchers on eBay at: - www.watchcount.com/#serp Check the country flag in top right hand corner. (Change it below.)

Gone, for £690!! I have a feeling that, unless it is quite a forgiving buyer, we`ll see this one relisted! By the way deedee, that watchcount is an excellent nosey sods tool. Have you got any more like it? Perhaps so you can see what`s been offered on best offer listings or what someones maximum bid is.

lol... That's me... (I am that 'nosey sod'!) It is of use to accertain interest. (BIN's too.) But no, (No tools like you ask.) Or I wish for! The other eBay tool I use from time to time is:- fatfingers.com/ (For finding eBay spelling mistakes and typos.) The two tools on your 'wish' list would be good... But the tool I'd like for use on best offer items is: - What's the sellers lowest acceptable price NOW!

Just done another search for NTV in Motorcycles & Scooters.
Once again; there are twelve bikes came up in the search. (At this time.) Checked out the; 'Item specifics' box in all the adverts for bikes milages. Only one of the twelve sellers still doesn't feel the milage a selling point?
Already at £411 with only 4 bids and has 41 watchers on it, at this time...
