that was as far as i got befor going home again Well with your track record of "any time, any weather" which put me to shame, let alone many others, all I can say is it must have been bad. The General and I went to Newcastle to collect son from University. Normally this journey takes approx 90 minutes, today it took 3 hours! Saw an Artic jack-knifed across the A19 at Billingham, blocked the whole road, fortunately on the Soutbound as we headed North, so we had a long lunch up there and it had cleared by the time we got back Bl00dy council gritters were conspicuous by their absence - all day

Norfolk.................
Fair play for getting that far........Hard core m8..Hard core.!!
But you did make the right decision, i think the majority of bikers would have looked out the window, and thought 'FECK THAT'
;D ;D

I am lucky and have the option to walk to work.
It was sheet ice all the way though and I helped pick up another bike that went down. He had crash bungs fitted to his R1 which took most of it. But his gear leaver was pointing the wrong way.
Ride safe.
As interesting as your mad antics are it would be a shame to bend you or the bike.

So I tell You... I still ride a bike to I don't know how is in Great Britan, Nederland or Portugal, but in Polish on Christmas we have some happening. Bikers wear Santa Claus clouds and ride to orphanage's. We gave for kids some toys, sweets, take them on a short ride, make photos, collect money on medicament for ill kids in hospital or something... In that one winter day, snow is not obstacle for noone! Most important is an idea! In thise year temperature was +5 degree so ewerything was easy 8) On secound picture, there are members from polish NTV forum

Killu...'Nutters' was meant as a compliment.... ;D Much respect to you and Norfolk for riding in such conditions successfully................... I am afraid i would be shaking too much with nerves to enjoy it As Sky said, nutters is to mean 'Mentally Challenged, some one who takes risks or does things others would not do. Can be an insult....IF you were attacked in a bar, that person might be called a nutter OR it can be said as a compliment. As in "My mate is a total nutter" meaning he is so much fun to be around, he has so little fear, he gets me to try things that later i enjoyed but at the time scared the S**T out of me.............. ;D ;D Mine was meant in the second example.... Ride safe jaz
