Interesting question posed on another site. IF a motorcycle is simply an advanced Bicycle (one with an engine) then why do we not have Recumbent Motorcycles..? Made me have a look and i found this video of a Quasar. Not that unusual but his one does have a pretty impressive ride section Enjoy... www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV4qVbNPX_w

Ah good points chaps..It has never caught on, but even i can see the merits for those have to choose the bus or train because a 2nd car was too expensive, what a great alternative the BMW would be .. .. .........IF you could ride it without a lid....

In the Netherlands, they changed the law on wearing a helmet on a motorbike especially for the C1.
Of course the C1 isn't mentioned in the actual law, instead it states the you can ride any 2-wheel motorbike without a helmet as long as the bike has a protective cage and you wear the approved seat belts. As far as I know the C1 is the only bike that will fit this description.

GvS Which just goes to show the imaginative thinking of the government over there compared to the stifled imagination that ours has.... Changing the law ... That would never even have been considered by our lot...
