Unfortunately, you have to have a facebook-account to see the photo. I know I'm probably the last person in this world not to have such an account...... But I'm not going to get another account, just to have a look at a photo of what is probably a very nice bike.
Good luck stoney !

All sorted, What I would like to know is how a bike with so many miles on, can still keep looking that good? I joined facebook to see what my kids were getting into. Very rare user but ocasionally handy.

Hi franklin Not the last while i'm still around.... the girls are on it and it just seems SOooooo needy.... My status is happy/bored/happy/bored ad infinitum....Aaghh. Sure it's an age thing as well, but the girls at work are forever on it so it might be a sex thing....(Awaits a total mauling by the ladies.. ) can't see what they get out of it, but there again they think i'm pretty sad 'talking' to you lot on the forum so much..... ;D ;D So horses for courses. Signed the 'Facebook Freedom Fighter' Long live the resistance..... ;D Ps Stoney another great find..how do you do it? Ride safe all & enjoy the excellent weather...

A very good looking bike ! You're bike looks quite a bit like mine (except mine has acquired a bit more dirt & it has a different colour). I even think that that you've got the same luggage rack as I have. A suggestion for improvement: The paint on the plastic covers for the hinge of the rear swing arm is gone. This happens to every NTV, because your feet are rubbing against this cover all the time. Unfortunately this cover is made from a plastic which is nearly white. So they stick out as soon as the paint is gone. This is what I did to conceal this: www.stoeretassen.nl/My_NTV650/Plastic_stoppen/Covers.htmRide safely ! Franklin

Franklin as ever has a very tidy option. For an alternative from Hamerite Man Brush evenly with smooth hamerite Click for larger picture. Franklins option will probably do more justice to your smart machine.

For an alternative from Hamerite Man Hammerite or Smoothrite? Difficult to tell in the photo, but your aNTy continues to look good. That clutch housing needs a coat of paint next. I did notice that you have a coiled spring wrapped around the top radiator hose. This is meant to go around the lower hose and protect from stones etc flung up from the front wheel. I've tried looking at photos showing aNTy's other side, but nothing very clear. Do you have a spring on the lower hose (LHS) too? If not, I'd suggest draining the system, end of top hose off and remove the spring, end of bottom hose off and put the spring on, replace both hoses, refill the system (worth checking the coolant is still fresh, if not, use some new)

Smoothrite. But with my old girl I tend to work on the principal that if it looks ok from 6 Feet or 2 Meters away its fine. Rad springs, I had wondered from time to time what they were for. I will check and report back.
