Any opinions on how to raise the seat height on a 650 Revere?
I saw a Dutch bike, possibly, with a seat trialled for the Dutch police, and I've found several sites offering replacement seats for Deauvilles but they are different mountings, I believe.

The best option is to get a custom seat made I think. It doesn't have to cost much if you find the right person. The NTV seat is rather simple so it should be easy to redo the foam and leather. Just to be clear: only replace the leather and foam, the plastic and metal bits can stay. Any other options would mean fiddling with the suspension etc. How tall are you? I'm 1.80m and just fold onto the bike

I'm a bit taller at 1.83, but when I borrowed an NTV the seat seemed quite low, tho' possibly sagging with old age - God knows, I am.

Yes, I've seen pictures of that seat as well. Once I saw an advert for one of those seats on the Dutch motor-forum, but they are extremely rare (probably because the Dutch police never bought the bike....). Best buy a second-hand seat (with ripped fabric, but the base intact) and take it to an upholsterer.
