Yes the rain must be making people too sad to post :-) It was crap down here yesterday! I spent the weekend polishing and painting the old girl and she was looking hot on Sunday night, and ready for the parade to work Then it rained all day lol. I guess my initial post may have sounded a little self indulgent, look at my bike and all that but I was made up that she looks so much better. oh well the Sun is out today ;D ;D Life is good again. r

Looking great RJ, why not be self indulgent, "if you've got it, flaunt it"!
Did you manage to get the rear most lugs sorted out? I didn't get chance to dig out one of my side panels that has been repaired in order to send you a piccy. Maybe bank holiday weekend!
Yesterday's weather! Rode south (on the mighty Pan) 300+ miles. Hein Gericke Water proofs, Frank Thomas Waterproof gloves and goretex inner bootees all kept me dry, depsite nature's best intentions.
Bitterly regretted taking my thermal linings out of the suit though. Didn't feel too bad at first, but mile after mile of relentless cold and I could barely get my leg back over the seat, or manage to walk with any dignity!
Skyhook, logic, women, practical things. At risk of Hubcap, JJ and The General all flaying off my skin, I cannot say too much more, but you're fighting a losing battle!
Weather looks a lot nicer today!

Cheers all for nice words, I will tell her later. McF - Yes thanks the rear of the panel is all fixed my daughters boyfriend sorted it for me. I will post pics. Skyhook - I saw an ntv the other night on ebay that looked to have fixings at the point you need. Sorry I did not send you a link, but it would seem ot would be ok to drill. Or would it be stronger to weld on a bolt? Inteseting to see your final solution. I did see a motorbike caravan over the weekend that you could pull which would give you much more space to fill ;D Promise not to tell
