Don't know if i succeeded posting the photos but thought i would show off Black Bess 2 and my light mod the original light was terrible wife got tired running in front with a torch so i have put these twins on two 60/55 watts and what a difference i might put osram nightbreaker bulbs in as well, getting old see eyes not what they used to be , don'think they look out of place any thoughts Ps not being very computer minded these pictures will probaly not come out can't seem to get things working properly Edited by McF for the photos to show correctly easiest way is to go to your photobucket folder, hover mouse over the thumbnail for the photo you want to past in and a series of boxes appears beneath. Copy the entire content of the "img" code which should be [1mg]xxxxx.jpg[/1mg] (I have replaced i with 1 so 1mg should read img - that way you can see the text

Nice job Cowboy and excellent photos were the lamps expensive? I presume they were easy enough to fit, but leaves you the problem of 3 miles of wiring loom to hide?

They were easy to fit just plug your three pin plug into the plug on the lights and your parking light wire and bobs your uncle i have fitted fork light brackets as my originAL bracket was broke price was £69.99 M&p sell them i got £5 knocked off at my local shop as for the wiring i used a old tube and put them in and tied them back with large ties looks fairly tidy might get a tool roll to go across the front to hide them completly, Mrs is happy i told her i can actualy see the hedges now, many thanks to MCF for getting my photos up i am useless at that sort of thing,

Hey Cowboy,
This looks good.
I've been thinking about a similar modification (can't get my wife to run in front with a flag......), but I don't use the bike in the dark very often. Also I've had quite some expenses to the bike recently, so I think that I'll pospone this (for ever ?)

Is that an inner tube in a u shape so both open ends point down? Looks like a good idea. And come the dark a night pic please, between us we can do it to add a pic you are on the right lines with the path to the picture. The trick is to add open square brackets img close square brackets before the path to the image then add the image path followed with open square brackets forward slash img close square brackets The / just ends the html "image tag" in techie talk. Sorry if this is too mucg detail but the open bracket stuff above needs to be [ stuff ] not the words. I tried typing it as you would in reality but it did not appear. Hope this helps. if not try to use the modify button on your post with the images above and look at the corrected text. ATB Roger

Yes i have doubled the tube over thought it would stop water getting in as much i think i can probaly get it tidier then maybe put a tool roll across to hide it, the lights are quite bright as they are but i think a couple of nightbreakers in which i think are 90% brighter will really do the job,, the only thing i found was if they are on dip and you use the passing switch they blew a fuse but i don't use that one anyway i find people tend to get agitated when you flash lights at them. anyway here goes for the in the dark lights on pictures one on dip one on main,my apoligies if i don't succeed again! Hurrah i managed it calls for a f*g.

Well done that man ;D
You obviously have the code cracked.
All I did was hit my return key to push the second image code down one line. This way the computer reads it as two lines and puts one image under the other.
She looks good and the cagers will see you coming as well.
No idea how you would fix it, or make it.. but apart from that a small black fairing with two u shapes in the top to fit snug to the lights would keep some of the spray off you electrics and could as you say tidy the fron end.
The lights do look good and I like the fairing balanced with the engine fairing. I could fancy that look on mine.

I got givena kawasaki headlight fairing for twin headlights i have just got to figure out a way of fitting it and making brackets, , went up around Exmoor today and strangely found quite a few cars letting me pass, don't know if it was the lights or everyone was in a good mood , if i manage to sort that fairing out sometime i will show it to see what you think,
