Hello everyone I have yet to post around, been lurking here on and off since I got an NTV The problem is , my rear shock absorber is FUBAR (or so it seems) So when I got it I didn notice it was bad , the only thing thatś working as a suspension back there is the spring, no gas at all. So today I went to a garage to had it taken off and rebuilt... and it has been shortened or so the tech says.... What I can see is that is has been welded right next to the top mount ( Ill try and get some pictures tomorrow) So my options now are: - Get a secondhand one , though it seems hard to find one in decent condition
- Get an original one that costś an arm and a leg
- Or get a replacement
This kinda screwed my plans at having it repaired fairly cheap, so I'm feeling kinda down.
Any help would be most apreciated Best Regards Devvil

The Betor on evilbay is at the same price as the one on their page, so it´s not worth it Thanks for the help , I´m going to check on them now . Cheers

Hey everyone Thank you everyone for the help so far Trying to cantact Otterparts, hopefully they understand english, waiting on an answer... Isn´t the rust on that shock a bit of a concern Andi ? Just asking , don´t take it the wrong way.(Anything is better than what I have atm) Stopped by the shop today and took some pictures to show you want my current shock looks like, you think its salvageable ?? Trying to cantact Otterparts, hopefully they understand english, waiting on an answer... It's not "they",it's just a one-man operation. The owner (Joost den Otter) will reply to mails in english & he will send to the UK. He does want to be paid before he ships, which can put people off. I've bought stuff with him in the past & he's never let me down (I don't know him, we just live in the same country with 15 million other folks). GvS
