dont do it buddy you havent even considerd the cost of stripping nuts bolts and screws.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PROJECT BIKE AGAIN. BUY A MINT BIKE
cost i have spent on my ntv650 £200 to remove seized exhaust studs
previous seller gave me a bag with centre stand in it and haynes manual i had to take off the exhaust to put the centre stand on to service the bike my paddock stands dont lift a ntv650 '' ha ha ''
bolts rounded exhaust studs snapped bought stud remover set £40 removed one stud had to get a mechanic to drill out the rest of the studs in the engine block.
had to replace all the fitting that held the carbs and air box everything i touched turned to cheese.
had a problem with my brake light bought a new front brake switch and guess what the screw under the master cylinder rounded got my dremmel. yes i had to buy to remove all the fittings that held the carbs/airbox oh yeah and i realised the reserve tank pipe has popped out the fuel tap after being stranded with no petrol and a flat battery on a very dark country road in the middle of nowhere '' thanks rac ''
oh yeah back to a simple job like replacing the brake switch now i have to bleed the brakes and the list goes on
my advice dont buy project bikes

ha, you sound like your losing patience with yours!
Its not been too bad, only things causing me grief at the moment is the lower rear shock bolts. Its seized in solid and looks like I'm going to have to cut it out!
