Following on from the scooter getting killed, I had to re-mot the ntv(this was the plan before but with the cash from the scooter sale to help, so this was a hope and pray mot) I fitted a 160/60/17 rear dunlop streetsmart, it seems after all of 20 miles that the ntv is more tippy with no loss of stability, I also fitted a ytx12bs 10ah battery in place of the ytx9bs and as she had been standing for about 5 mths i was expecting a struggle so I took off the carbs and checked them and the valve clearences, she started second press with the same fule in the tank and cleaned and re red rubber greased the calipers
the zrx1200 fairing was dipping to the right, so mr mot suggested that i removed the tangs from the bulbs and we would adjust them in front of his machine, it worked so along with a new £4 rear brake light switch and £42 for tax
I soooo much prefer the riding postion of the ntv over the silly scooter
next mod(when i`m allowed) is a cbr600 fork kit(replace the internals) and possibly a cbr600 f2 front wheel, may need a bros front disc for that Cheers Ray

Let the good times roll! No issues with a 160 on the center stand? I have one to put on too.

Quite a bit, i only have one, its mainly to catch cardrivers eyes, but at night on an unlit road I can switch off the headlight and ride on the led, the main problem is that it has no lens to focus the beam so if its too high it will shine in the rear view mirror I had it on the burgman before, wired into the postion/parking light circit and as it only draws about 1amp the fuse was ok with it. Ray I will put up some pics, when i get time
