I got one back before Christmas - see this thread for details. Couple of adjustments had to be made to get it lined up, but nothing major and as I'm running with a fan off something other than an NTV (think it's a CBR600 item, not sure) it would be strange if everything lined up perfectly at the first go. So far, no problems at all, engine temp is right where I would expect it to be - not quite making it over 1/4 way up from cold (well, it is Scotland in winter!), no leaks, no worries. Dunno how long the finish will last, but considering it's covered with a plastic surround anyway, who cares? I recommend the idea to the house!

When I saw these I though it would be useful maybe some time in the future but I got the bike running today and guess what? Of course the rad started dripping...
One thing though, in the ad it says; 'Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.'
Did you have to pay any customs duties?

Short answer - no.
Slightly longer answer - Never yet had to pay anything extra on stuff like this, but if the Customs boys decide to check out every packet sent over you may have to cough up a few quid, but it would still be a helluva lot cheaper than buying a new Honda item.

Ordered Thanks for the confidence boot - I'd be a bit hesitant otherwise. Now the wait - on the plus side my amateur mechanic impulses can be spent doing the annoying little things that tend to get postponed.
