Hi all, new member here. Passed my bike test at the age of 36 last November on my dad's NTV650. Not a bad achievement I thought given that my first time on the NTV was on my test! Had spent a couple of years on a honda NSR125 with L plates before that. Well my dad's got himself a Bros400 now and the NTV is mine! Seems like a pretty decent first big bike, it's a very clean 1994 example with about 18,000 miles on the clock. Plan to use it for a 32 mile round trip commute to work when the weather improves on a mixture of A-roads, and hopefully the odd longer trip during the summer.

Welcome from Ireland 32 mile round trip the old girl will do that without skipping a beat. Mine does 60 miles each way to college without a bother (well on less caused me eg heated grips) Have to say after 60 miles even in the real cold bike is still comfortable

Cheers for the welcomes. I rode the bike back from South Wales the other weekend, about 60 miles, very very cold (about 3 degrees) and windy on the Severn bridge, but seems comfortable enough on a long ish run.
