Hi Oddjob, I too have heard a Deauville's cables are longer. (To account for taller bars rather than fairing?) Dependant on tauntness; I too would guess so... PS Just as a point of interest. (To me anyway, lol!):- I browse ebay for odds and sods; NTV/Revere related... I browse Deauville, (Awaiting my 700 engine for £0.99!) These bars came up the other day, listed for a NT700v:- www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-DEAUVILLE-NT700-NT700V-CHROME-HANDLEBARS-GENUINE-11-/151172309215?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item23329260df These bars, (To me.) look to be taller than the NT650v? (Could be the perspective; No similar images to compare.) 'May' be the NT700v cables are just that bit longer again?

Had a look at www.hondantv.co.uk/nthatsawkwardsforks.php fairing i have is cobra powerbronze..same brackets but twin lights..had to cut off lug on front of ntv frame as handlebar would hit fairing when turning..maybe cause they renthals?...wiring going to be a pain as no single headlight shell to hide it in out of way...would deauville mudguard fit on ntv forks?

No worries Oddjob, cheers for reply. When I come across stuff I fancy at a breakers; I'll watch out for a job location local to it. If a job comes up by a BIN item, it can cover postage, petrol & I get a 'hands on' look at it! But, it doesn't come together for me very often, lol!

Hi folks i just fitted renthals ultra low but i now cant get the throttle to pull back at full lock. the bars are low so i ddn't imagine there would be a problem i even placed the throttle lever right up at the centre of the bar as i considerd cutting around a inch from each end of the bar. but trying moving the trottle closer to the centre ot the handlebar didnt work
d**n short cables can anyone roughly say how much longer the deauville throttle cables are i dont want to throw any more money at this bike and find out i have a handlebar and a set of cables that are worthless.
i still have the handlebar that was perfect on the ntv and they are aftermarket handlebars i bit wider than the original ones i will give them a measure
