Ace Cafe Southend shakedown.

Any one planning to go on the Ace Cafe Southend shakedown on Monday?

I plan to get to the Ace around 10:00 if anyone wants to grab me, Iwill have an orange flip front helmet and be on a black Deauville 700.

Hi Rusty.

Not too far from the ace but working Monday....

Normally look at the ace events pages, but when the bike went off line, i stopped but now I am back up and running should start looking at it again.

On the ride front IF you can get to the ace, a few of us are planning to ride out to Loomies, (Southwest towards southampton) next sunday 19th.

I'll hopefully be meeting up with skyhook around heathrow area, if you can make it? all wlecome.. ;D

It was a bit wet setting off from Bedford but as soon as we went under the bridge and up the slip to the Ace it was dry!

Easy run out to Southend, parking was excellent, they closed off one lane on each side of the promenade for bike parking only, no charges either, lots of signs stating why and that it was bike parking only, (Except for the 2 numpties who decided it would be a good idea to put their cars in between all these bike that were in the way, result was 2 traffic wardens in synchronised fixed penalty issuing mode, two tickets in 2 minutes flat.) Who says there is no justice in this world.

Didn't get many pics as the batteries died!! and I picked up the wrong spares.
Still I will have a look and see what came out and post them up.
