hi looking at getting a custom paint job,.. like a camo themed ntv,.. would prefer paint, but also was looking at vinyl wrap.. have anyone had wrap done.. views much appreciated.. found a company in Cardiff who do cars, will do complete paint job for 170. if I take off parts and take too them.. drain tank etc. mudguard . 2 side panels and seat panel.. some dents in tank they will fill. been looking round for prices this seems the best quote.. cheers the slug..

hi thanks dee dee looked at link with wrap know it looks good.. theres a local company near me that does cars is quite cheap.. bit old school, think I prefer paint .. have removed parts cleaned and drained tank. ready to take to Cardiff tomorrow,. they have worked a good price for me.. because I will leave parts for four weeks with them then will do in between other work, making job a little cheaper,100 mile round trip, paint shops in Hereford tend to over price jobs. mate had repair to his fairing charged 220 whooo.. only a small repair.. will post photos when I put bike back together. car or shankses for next month.. cheers the slug..

That would be me! My wrap has been on just over a year now and it's holding up pretty well. May have to re-do the tank soon but thatss 'cause there were a few bits I wasn't happy about from the start. Wrapping can be just as expensive as paint in some circumstances, and obviously it's not permanent, but that's not particularly a bad thing. It protects your paint underneath, and if you changed your mind in the future or wanted to sell it; it comes off!
