Well we do have Electri bikes over here so think they come under same rules, Its not like she is some chav behaveing like a prat, but then we are talking about Jan...........lol ( BAD EYES )....lol

Thanks, but you've quoted the wrong legislation here. This is about "electrically assisted pedal cycles" (the bike must have pedal that can be used to propel it). But it does confirm my expectations: <quote>: "any electric bike that doesn't meet the EAPC rules needs to be registered and taxed" GvS
