Hi folks,
First of all, I must apologize for not being an active member for some time.
I just wanted to share with you my new bike. A model I was looking for some time with no luck, since it is a rare model in my country.
I could finally get one of these in very good condition, and decided to share it with you. As a note, let me tell you that I still have the NTV, but now it lies on a holliday House I have on the country, so she spends most of her life resting on the garage. Nevertheless, everytime I need her, she never lets me down. Always starts well, even if with a little help from a push start downhill because of it's weak battery.
Now the recent aquisition, a 1998 Honda Magna VF750C (I dont have decent pictures of mine yet, but it is a copy of the one below):
Since I first bought the NTV, I found that the engine sound I love the most is the one from the V Engines.
Inlines and boxers do not catch my attention... But there is other category that made me think : 'Wooowww ... Where does this sound came from ?' ...
This other category is the V-Four engines. I love their sound.
The Honda Magna VF750C has a V-Four engine (as the Yamaha V-Max and Honda VFR), and what an engine. Pulls like a train, with so much less vibration than a V-Twin, and with a distintive sound.
I was looking for a cruiser type bike for some time, and this Magna won my attention.
It has that cruiser 'muscle bike' look with 4 pipes (2 on each side) and many chrome parts, remarkable handling, power and torque.
Honda discontinued this model since early 2000. I guess it was discontinued because of low market demand since it was an expensive bike at the time. Maybe that's why it was so hard to find a decent one, at least here in Portugal.
Hope you like it.
Best Regards
