Consulted my written scroll: -
Front forks
Oil level* NTV600-J model ............ 182 mm
Oil capacity NTV600-J model ............ 405 cc
Oil type ........................ ATF or fork oil
Fork free spring length NTV600-J model Standard ................... Not available Service limit ............... 321 mm
* Oil level is measured from the top of the tube with the fork spring removed and the leg fully compressed.
PS For what it's worth; I go with what-ever I find cheapest on the shelf. (Too tight too! ;D )

Get the Honda replacement seals. Cheaper one tend to wear out quicker or don't sit as snug. I find the extra few quid is worth it when you don't replace them as often.

hi jup good advice have brought seals already so stuck with them some make called extreme. forks leaks seem to be a weak point on these bikes. cheeers the slug.

Nope, they`re not a weak point at all, mine`s got 36,000 on the clock and they`re still the originals. The weakness is owners not cleaning the crud and acidic fly `juices` off the sliders leading to premature failure!
