I came back from the NEC live last night and felt a little underwhelmed (2011 was the 1st time I went). Here's my album of pics I took: photobucket.com/NEClive2012& small sample of some of my fav's WANT!!! New Norton Commando Cafe-Racer: Thruxton EFI cafe-racer: Worthy of a dirty thought or two: On the BackStreet Heroes stand: I might have to nick this back-end for my project: With a few tweaks - this could look awesome: 1300cc Moto Guzzi California One for the salts?

Very quick summary:
Of all the bikes I sat on, I'd say the TDM was the most comfortable, although the new Divvy S & the FZ8 also looked good. & all the other bikes in the Yamaha range all seemed to have a similar face lift.
I didn't see much in the Honda or Suzuki stand.
Ducati had their 20 year anniversary stand = never been much of a fan though.
Lots of race bikes of which my mate was very please with - I didn't know them 'cos I'm not that interested in crotch-rockets.
The Zero stand (100% electric bikes) had a larger number of bikesthan I thought (55kw, 99 ft/lb & 150 mile range) = A very tempting future possibliity - if they start coming down in price.
Overall though, I'm glad I've got my 20 year old Revere as it's all paid for & never lets me down.
