Well I thought if I remove the old exhaust (Motad) and plate it up because of the huge hole on the bottom that would be that!. Well after trying to figure how they were attached to the down pipes (Yes there should be 2 clamps). I realised that the last numpty owner had welded them. After grinding the welds off I managed to split them, only to have the whole thing fold in half! So I am looking for a rear box and with funds so low it doesn't have to be pretty it just has to be solid and cheap. It's a bit of a pain with these bikes as unlike other bikes you can't swap end cans around due to the fact it has two inlets! Help please.
On another note what other model of bikes will fit!
Thanks SC

Many people have created their own 2 in 1 pipe so they could fit other, more standard exhausts. I can't advice on the sizes etc, but from what I gathered it should be reasonable easy if you know how to use a welder. (I don't....only in theory....and theory doesn't melt your fingers if you get it wrong )

I was looking to knock up a quick, cheap exhaust a little while back. I was looking at the two into one component from a mini lbc manifold. Something I'd used on track bikes when younger. (A little while ago.)I'd contacted: - minispares.com (Gary Pattinson) to check dimensions. His reply RE: C-AHT197 'Inlet side is 38.7mm x2,outlet side is 45.6mm. overall length is 305mm' So; Well doable with a bit of fettling. www.minispares.com/product/Classic/Exhaust_and_manifold/Exhaust/Exhaust/C-AHT197.aspx?110201&ReturnUrl=/shop/classic/exhaust~and~manifold.aspx|Back%20to%20shopMANIFOLD Y PIECE FOR C-AEG365 LCB L61 Haven't got round to starting it yet as last summers building project got in the way... But, no need to get your fingers burnt & adapters available to fit most generic silencers. They also come up on eBay now & again. (Both in mild & stainless.) PM sent, Dee

I like the look of the mini T piece. Will a standard exhaust can fit this diameter?
I also looked on Wemotos site and they do a cheap exhaust but on checking it is just a straight through pipe and it most certainly is not road legal.
Thanks SC

I have one of those mini two branch stainless Ebay efforts, and an old megaphone fitted to it after I cut the bend out and welded the pipe end back on straight. NOTHING to hold back the donkey`s `bark`. Legal? Who cares when I have a tame MOT tester. The Donkey barks, hence her name.

I am still desperately looking for an exhaust. In fact I will say I am very desperate now....lol I can revive the downpipes (if I have too), but the back box/can is a definite need. I don't care if it has a little surface rust but it needs to be cheapish as funds are getting lower as I am finding other things on the bike I have to spend money on.
Thanks SC
