An interesting concept ;D
My riding was done at a time when riding was the only choice, as Forum's didn't exist. Experience was a hard won thing, especially outside of the riding. Modifications, repairs and fault finding was usually a case of chatting to your mates and then a "suck it and see" session. As your mates usually had different makes and models of bikes you really could be on your own.
Now I'm on the start of my return to riding, using this Board as an example, I can only thank the contributions made by the members. A group of people linked by their use of a particular model pooling their experiences for the benefit of the total newby like myself but also the more experienced. The resource of this Board really is fantastic and the amount of information invaluable. I've now probably read 80% of all the posts and my understanding of the bike I've just bought has increased dramatically in a very short time.
I'd like to thank the people that do talk about their bikes rather than just ride them.
ATB Ray.

I'd like to second Ray's comments - whilst I really enjoy riding my Revere, this forum is a fantastic source of knowledge and I am proud to be a member of it. Thank you everyone
