Ahhh, Rob Davies, a stalwart of the old CX-GL MCC and all-round good egg - bit CDO (like OCD, but in alphabetical order) when it comes to fettling, but that's no bad thing.
I notice he's still using those expensive gauges he's had for years, for the fiscally challenged amongst us, here's the 10 bob DIY option:

Rob Davies all round good egg, don't make me laugh, known him for years, since i was in the cx owners club, only good thing about him is the fact he puts all the info in one place and makes it easy to read, he didn't even know what a helicoil was, i had to show him by doing the ones on his cx's engine mounts, showed him a few short cuts as well on how to do mechanical seals and where to get stuff cheap, he likes to imurse himself into a club and make himself the fountain of all knowledge about the said machine, he may of changed over the years....... but i doubt it.
