The markets are loaded with cheap bikes just now. As folks feel the pinch their `toys` will be sold, always the same during times of money mullarkey.

All I'm gonna say is "Honda NC700s" - The NTV / Revere Mk II.
The other day traveling around the M25 I saw 3 of them, they seem popular with the Kent - London riders.
Went into a dealers the other day, got a test ride booked for a few weeks time. "They're flying out the showrooms" so they were saying.

All I'm gonna say is "Honda NC700s" - The NTV / Revere Mk II. It's not the prettiest bike around though Interestingly, I had a meeting last week with someone who declared he had sold his own mighty Pan and bought an NC700. He commutes 70 miles each way, doesn't "hang about" and claims to have great handling and returns over 80mpg. He reckons they are the future But I'm not convinced as I prefer my two wheels to be a bit more old skool

Basically half a Honda Civic engine they`ll last forever but as has been said, wear out plenty of chains and sprockets.

... another unfortunate Honda adventure me thinks... So that would be like the NTV / Revere then....... ;D What I mean't was your careful "keep bike in a garage for ten years" brigade are all cashing in their assets to fund their next purchase (NC700).

Blasphemy! ye sinner... Am guessing some of these sellers have calculated they will get more for a bike at the begining of the "fair weather biker season" 11 bikes on e-bay and i would possibly buy one of them, the rest fall into other catergories like.. neglected, messed about by a wannabe mechanic, made to look good for a photo, low milage? YEA SURE, for breaking..... am guessing a few of them have a "DelBoy Bible in the topbox" to claim it had one owner who was a Priest...

Im near thetford! That looks like a goodn, let us know if you need a hand with the fork seals, did mine recently (and a shop will NOT charge £40-80 for that!!! Best quote I had was £120, excluding bushes and shims, ended up doing it myself for £30 with genuine honda seals and both sets of bushes as well as some new gaitors)
