Cleaned up/slightly modified Revere...

Thought I'd share pics of my white Revere now it's gone through a bit more of a cleanup and had a few mods.

Changes made:

Replaced both side engine casings (alternator & clutch)
Polished front end (forks, refurbished brakes)
Fitted new front mudguard
Fitted new (correct colour) front wheel (thanks to Groovylee!)
Fitted new front indicators
Fitted Touratech hand protectors (fit perfect, designed for an R1150GS)
Fitted Touratech mirror extensions
Fitted Touratech rear mudguard extender (went a bit Touratech mad...)
Fitted Fuel carbon-look exhaust
Fitted new Bagster tank cover
Cleaned and polished various bits (gear lever, brake pedal, blah)

I should mention that fellow member dhholloway (our local mechanic!) fitted the engine casings and the exhaust for me... top bloke!! Thanks Dan.....














Still lots to do... new tyres next and I may get some stickers on it soon

I didn't know that Bagster still made the tank cover. And even in white !!
Where did you order it ?

And I like those hand protectors. Any chance of some more close-up photos?

Your wish is my command...... The protectors come with clamps to fit the larger BMW bars, so I simply replaced them with stainless/rubber clamps which fit nice and tight around the Revere bars. Would be easier on a later NTV with standard bars... I also had to replace the bar end weight bolts with longer ones (M6x80mm I think) as the protectors add about 10mm to the length needed.

The hand protectors were a bit of a fluke... they were a Gumtree special at £70.... Still expensive but they retail at twice that...
