Hi everyone, Just went out to fit my HEL brake line, as per the haynes instructions (BOY am I glad it says to check you can undo the reservoir cap screws first!!) I checked the res. cap and one of the screws doesn't actually have a head any more so I don't think Im going to be able to get it out... If any one has a master cylinder I could replace it with that'd be great, Thanks, Dan

Seriously !!! ;D THANKS SO MUCH!! The old brake line is urinating brake fluid over the front wheel which makes the issue a bit more pressing so that would be incredible,
Actually - to save you on postage, if you're around on Sunday I'll see if I can drop by yours, and if you need a hand with anything I can help out?
Edit: Or even, my Dad has bought a new bike so Im taking him to london pillion to collect it so we could come home via yours tomorrow instead? Whenever's best for you.
I honestly cannot thank you enough, I'll pay you back! Dan

dude, just checked my spare master cylinder, but the fool who had it before me managed to shear both screws off in it. i had a qick go at drilling out the remains, but the metal surrounding the screws just crumbled so glad you didnt take it really! i will post the rack tomorrow anyway. sorry dude

aah no! Well, Ill give drilling the remains of the screw out over the next week I guess, It's such a shame, these bikes would be SO much better if honda hadn't put pretty awful philips head screws EVERYWHERE!! Hex nuts, flat heads and alan keys make so much more sense in every percievable way,
ah well, the brake still works, and if I drill the head off/out then the other screw should be enough to safely hold the resevoire cap on until I find a replacement right?
But still man, thanks for the offer, really do appreciate it!

If any one has a master cylinder I could replace it with that'd be great, I don't have one, but my favourite second-hand supplier does: otterparts.nl/He wants € 40 for it and he will send to the UK. Good luck with the repair GvS
