So on saturday/sunday I begin the 3rd and hopefully final rebuild/extreme modification of my bike 'skippy' a 95 ntv650s. Like the last two builds I'll be posting my progress, hopefully I'll remember to take enough pics. I havent used it since some time in september and have been using an XT600e for work so Im thinking to go all out with this rebuild and keep the bike (I havn't the heart to sell it).
Ideas this time: Keep the 996 rear but reweld everything...nicely. Lose the rat style in favour of a nicer look(I want at least 1 nice looking bike!!!) Practice my carbon fibre molding...on everything Tune and lighten everything Rebuild engine
Pictures and progress to come...

This is what the bike looks atm, for those of you who dont know how it ended looking like this look at my last two 'ntv650s rebuild/re-rebuild' threads - I cant be bothered to write up the whole saga!!! . Guess what was leaking when I rolled it around.... Only parts so far: Thats basically a complete engine for £70-delivered Jobs to do this weekend is take off all the stuff I dont need left on for measurements etc and start by tuning the heads Ive got as Ive bought some parts and now have no money! Parts bought: Replacement tank New pistons (wiesco 696cc 11:1 comp +3mm) Forks (to modify) Carbs (Bros with better internals)
