She has cleaned up very well. Serious panniers! Kitchen sink should fit in fine I did like her with all the adventure stickers though.

It looks very good now, although I agree, it also looked good in 'journey' mode. White is a great colour for an NTV and that fairing looks almost OEM.
Any chance of a photo of the Wingrack as it fits to the bike? Did you use a standard Givi fitting kit, or did you have to make modifications?
I'm planning a summer trip, but I like the look of the NTV's original design and can't decide whether to load up 'properly' with panniers, or invest in new bungees for the tail-pack!

Well, I do have to agree that I miss the stickers.... so I've ordered a few to get the bike back to some form of adventurer status That said, I don't see we'll see Ewan Mcgregor or Charley Boorman on an '89 Revere any day soon.... @lesley52 regarding the Givi luggage.... I am fortunate (or sad) enough to have collected a few of the fitting kits over the years so had a couple of Y136 Givi fitting kits still in their boxes. Wingracks you can get easily enough from ebay etc. but let me know if you need a good one as I recently bought a nice one from a chap who refurbishes them and I highly recommend him. He also sourced the full Kappa set for me. I've uploaded a couple of pics which were the instructions with the kit if they are useful. Will try to take some pics of the actual rack soon.... It was a relatively straightforward fit, with two exceptions - the indicators and getting the side/rear cowling back on! The indicators, clearly, won't fit at all and even the "mini" indicators still protrude too far and hit the panniers. So you either buy the VERY expensive Givi Indicators, or the VERY expensive miniature indicators. I went for the Oxford Eyeshot Nano LEDs - they really are nice and come with everything you need to simply wire in. One word of warning though, they won't fit through the existing indicator holes as they have a square wiring connector permanently attached so I had to drill different holes in the rear mudguard. The second issue was the getting the rear cowling/plastic re-fitted. I had to remove the two side supports (numbered item 3 on the first diagram below), then loosen several of the Wingrack bolts so I could ease the cowling back into place (you need to remove it to bolt the upper support (number 6 on the first diagram) to the grabrail, and also fit the indicator wiring). But it's impossible to get back in once the entire Wingrack is fitted, so I would probably (next time) get it all lined up with loose bolts (not fitting the side supports (no. 3), bolt the upper support down, fit and wire up the indicators, refit cowling, then fit the side supports and bolt everything up. As it was, it felt like I did everything 3 or 4 times....

Looks really nice. I looked everywhere for the Y136 fiting kit but with no luck. I found the Hepco & Becker frames on a breaker and got them instead. I had a wing rack to fit but sold it. I found the matching Hepco panniers. They are top quality and have a matching top box. Not used them for serious touring but want to go to France this year, camping in all likelihood. Happy days!

Hi Awkward,
Many thanks for the info; I appreciate you taking the time. Your post and photos are now safely stored, for when I get to the 'luggage' part of... The Plan!
