I know this is a random post, but I've been getting and reading Adventure Bike Rider magazine for the last few issues, and wanted to share with others who may not have seen it. Whilst there is a bias towards the BMW GS and Yamaha Tenere end of the bike market, there are some really good stories of long road-based treks which I've personally enjoyed. They also do really good kit reviews - very thorough and tested to death to see if (e.g. waterproofs) perform on long-haul expeditions. Anyway, wanted to share as it's pretty rare these days (other than Classic Motorcycle Mechanics and Practical Sportsbikes) for me to find a decent magazine that I read cover to cover.... www.adventurebikerider.com/

Obelix - thanks for the Overland magazine recommendation.
Ordered the first couple of issues from their website - thoroughly enjoyed reading the first issue cover to cover....
Great recommendation!
