I'm just wondering... at what point did he actually think this was going to be a good idea? I have never ever thought of doing this and here is evidence of why I'm never likely to

I'm just wondering... at what point did he actually think this was going to be a good idea? There is a circle of rubber on the road surface, which could mean that this is his second attempt (the first one didn't end in this disastrous way). On the other hand, it could also mean that a mate of him (the one filming now), did the trick with another bike I have never ever thought of doing this and here is evidence of why I'm never likely to I agree, if all goes well, it's a waste of rubber & fuel. And there's just too much risc involved, as this video proves. GvS

I assume that at some stage, alcohol was involved

I saw the black rubber evidence but clearly someone had the original idea and that's what I fail to comprehend. I assume that at some stage, alcohol was involved I wouldn't count on it.....plenty of people are actually willing to do these kind of stunts while sober I enjoy seeing a good burnout, seen plenty of them in real life.....but mostly people with stunt bikes and sponsors. And there was a bike dealer that let's you smoke up your tyre when you come in for a new set (worn through natural wear and tear) so you don't have to trailer your bike there But most idiots don't consider their bike and not only waste their tyres....but usually their engine too. Mind you....I won't be doing it any time soon....the Revere has new tyres and the other bike will have too...perhaps when they're almost gone I might do a safe one
