Well....I still love my suzie ( linkie) but it's time I moved on.... Turns out I prefer the better handling of something else... So, if all goes well I will put in an order for a new yamaha next week ;D A XJ6 Diversion S to be precise.... I'll be getting a red one...although I can't find any images for that one:

Oh yes.... And their motorbikes aren't bad either.
Good luck with the purchase.

the training school have just bought 2 naked ones in blue to use as student bikes next year , light , handle well and have a very nice soft motor. also bought an sv650 ready for when the new regs come in, wont be able to use the 500's then.

I did a test drive on the naked one and loved it...just doing one more test drive on the actual diversion and unless that throws up any strange things I will have bought the div. I won't be getting it any time soon though.....I'll leave it at the dealers for the winter, so the registration will be done in 2012 ... always good if I want to trade it in later on....
Well, I hope I am better with their bikes....I am not very good with any instrument of the music variety...

I found some images: I signed for the bike already, but picking it up next year....so the trade in value is higher.

I took a few pics in the showroom. It is my bike, the dealer is just 'storing' it in the showroom until I register it. link to the album

She does look nice. with a growing collection of pics What are your first impressions? (Clearly she needs to be run in and the tyres still need to loose their shine.) But how does she feel on the road / bends?

This is such an improvement over the V-strom.... (and even the NTV dare I say it) Even while running her in I already manage to take corners at nice angles It's also very very difficult to keep to the limit of 5000 rpm .... it goes up all the way to 11,500 when run in! After picking her up I drove it to my parents house for a few pics and to let my GF off.....she has backache but had to come along for the pickup. Then I took the Div for a nice drive along the coast and the long-ish way home... Turned towards home just in time as it started to rain slightly...with new tyres and new bike...I thought it wise to stop.
