I have an idea to collect camp site details and then build these into our site with a map.
Could build a network for weekend meetup sites.
Some of us are out and about this summer so we should have some to start the list soon.
Anybody want to start us off?
1. Have you stayed there? 2. Good / bad points? 3. Does you mate own the site? 4. Can you get any discount for club members?

I've just bought a tent and a sleeping bag and would like to find somewhere to test them for the first time as I am a camping virgin(here come the jokes ). Ideally within 100 miles of Leeds. Any ideas??

Just a quick tip: If you are completely new to camping: - Set up your tent in your back garden or on a field nearby that doesn't have loads of people there making fun of you. You WILL take some time - READ the manual. Don't glance over it.....READ it.....understand it before unpacking the rest of the tent. Do that and you have a sporting chance of not looking foolish when you arrive on the campsite Either that, or find a site that's deserted

Local (Wakefield) bike club I'm associated with (TeaFolk MCC) hold their annual rally here: www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=1040Landlord is brill on a rally weekend and the place is great for a run out, middle of nowhere without being actually in the middle of nowhere.. Cheap for the night, having my 'biker friendly' wedding reception there soon too Matter of fact this weekend 29-31 there is the Black Pig Rally held there.
