Mr Honda make the best value parts , they are far better quality, fit perfectly and last longer so you only do the job once, which makes them cheaper than pattern parts in the long run. your bike will love you for this decision

ha yeh mr honda also loves to empty your bank account... They charge an absolute bloody fortune,
The set i got fit perfectly and have never leaked or passed any fluid, i usually use a gasket more than once anyway just as long as they come off in one piece, i just add abit of silicone liquid gasket compound before refitting. Perfect job done very cheaply.
same as drain bolt copper washer just heat to red hot in a gas flame and allow to cool it is perfectly usable again you can do this twice, but i would recomend changing on the third time.
I will use any way of saving money and these ways may only save pence but over time they add up to a hell of alot of money.

I love the advice on here, it is so sound and grounded I'll stretch the budget a tad, then see what discounts might be possible on a Hodna set If no real bargains, I will go ebay and use with exceptional "Scroogeness" All the best Ed

sorry just thought i am a tad bit of a liar the one part i will always buy a genuine honda part is the clutch and clutch springs.
I have had pattern parts and they never felt the same, they slipped when cold never felt like they engaged properly and smoothly. i just didn;t like them so i rather buy the original which actually feel like they connect the engine and gearbox of the same bike.
cheers ed
