Just in case you miss the chance to get hold of a Poppy or wrist band, then the link below has lots of ways to get involved or donate. www.britishlegion.org.uk/support-us/how-to-giveYou may not support any war, but the legion has done and continues to do, lots of good work supporting veterans from new and old wars. All the best. Roger

Good work RJ - in my view a very worthy cause; I am wearing my poppy with pride. You may not support any war, but the legion has done and continues to do, lots of good work supporting veterans from new and old wars. Exactly right - If people disagree with war, it's the politicians who should be blamed. The Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen (and women) do their job and take the risks, then some pay the price for a long time afterwards. The poppy appeal is aimed at helping those that protected our liberties and now need our help. Many of them are too proud to ask for help
