I am intrigued John, are you planning to fit two sets? Some indicators have a two filament bulb (like a stop/tail light) I think what outlaw wants to do is wire up the low watt (ie tail light) to be on permanently with the side lights and keep the high watt (ie stop light) to flash when indicating. Very common lighting arrangement in the USA. Not particularly keen on the idea in this country myself. Dopey car drivers are likely to get confused and think you're indicating when you aren't. Risk of this increased significantly if one filament blows. For extra running lights, I'd always go for white LEDs at the front - they can be very eye catching. |
