So on my commute home from work today, I hear a disturbing sound when stationary at some lights. Sounds like the exhaust has a hole in a downpipe. Get home to find that on the rear cylinder, one of the mounting studs has corroded/fallen off so the downpipe collar is now loose.. Anybody with experience or any ideas to fix?? I'm not that good when it comes to fabricating new fixings and stuff.. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I know guys, thanks. Was just wondering if anyone had a magic wand/fix that would mean I don't need to remove a cylinder head or the motor... Can't have everything can we??

With a very steady hand you could try grinding a slot in the bolt with a dremel and unscrew it that way? Just a thought though...
