Certainly would overcome the difficulty I found in trying to devise clip-ons for my NTV I wanted to keep as much of the standard steering-lock angles as possible yet retain the fat tank The above "Cafe-Racer" handlebars appear to solve both problems Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... All the best Ed

"And another thing..." Re-reading the above, "...effect on handling..." The rider's c.o.g. would be slightly further forward and lower, I think The rider's eyes would also be nearer the mirrors, widening a little the arc of view to the rear Has anyone here tried a set of these? If so, did they find a need to move the footrests proportionally rearward? All the best Ed

does anyone know where to buy these cafe racer bars? il stick a set on and see what its like. they look good As Outlaw says, they're Ace Bars. Clearly they're only going to fit the NTV650. The biggest headache fitting them I think will be cable routing and that can be a nightmare, but only the start of things. As Ed mentions, without altering the footrests, I think the riding position will be very uncomfortable (I wouldn't be worried about the CoG) and sorry to be a nag, but do check with your insurers first, they would probably treat this as a modification

cheers guys, il have a look at them now and buy a set. regarding the cable lenghts, when i picked the bike up it had flat bars on with stupidly high risers so i should be ok. cheers guys

forgot to comment on the foot pegs, i would be pretty sure that something will need to be changed in that area. i have loads of different ones in the shed so il have a play with a few and let you all know the results
