seen a few posts re panel with broken lugs etc, and i know these are hard to find and can be expensive to replace, so i was quite intrigued when i saw this post on another forum. Copied the link in case it is of interest to any one else. Fixing broken plasticsOne that caught my eye was the melted lego brick.....mmhh. may give that a go at some point if i ever need it..

very handy..gonna try no nails on back of few cracked panels..if no good i know where to look

Wow - the lego brick in acetone sounds great.
I have tried the soldering iron and a "filler rod" of plastic and it works pretty well, provided you're trying to mend the right type of plastic (thermo plastic) Just be aware of fumes coming off and hot molten plastic that might drip everwhere
