thanks for the advice' At the moment, having just purchased a micron slip on can, i'm looking for the best way to fit this, in place of my motad stainless steel can, i would like to keep the motad intact, but feel i may have to get it sawn through in order to match up the micron can to the 2 into 1 ports that are on the link between downpipes and exhaust (unless anyone knows of anywhere i can get a link pipe)

Hi devlin, and welcome.. ;D Well first let me get the official stuff out of the way to get the best of the forum we set up a newbies page. Plus we have a forum map that all members are invited to pin in to, just to let others know who may be a available or nearby for a ride or meet up. I took the liberty of pinning you, but please have a look and add or amend as you see fit. i think the nearest ride out spot is Loomies... at 1 hour + it's about the same as my journey out from London. so very do-able... ;D

Hi devlin, and welcome.. ;D Welcome from me too Have you had your aNTy long? Where did you get her from? i think the nearest ride out spot is Loomies... at 1 hour + it's about the same as my journey out from London It's a decent ride and some lovely roads, but closer to 2 hours each way I think, well worth the run if you can spare half a day and some loose change for a brew thanks for the advice' At the moment, having just purchased a micron slip on can, i'm looking for the best way to fit this, in place of my motad stainless steel can, i would like to keep the motad intact, but feel i may have to get it sawn through in order to match up the micron can to the 2 into 1 ports that are on the link between downpipes and exhaust (unless anyone knows of anywhere i can get a link pipe) It may be worth reading through this thread. www.ntvhonda.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=links&thread=1109&page=1Africa Twin donor bike might be worth looking at for the branch to take both header pipes into one for the exhaust Illegalalien (who may be abroad just at the moment) made some link pipes and was selling them at £50 www.ntvhonda.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=partsforsale&thread=712&page=1Drop him a PM or let me know as I have his eMail address

It's a decent ride and some lovely roads, but closer to 2 hours each way I think, well worth the run if you can spare half a day and some loose change for a brew You'll need more then 'A Bit of Change' if you gonna drink with the 'Tea Meister'... On the cans front, aliens stuff does look pretty good and a good price iirc ? Really does suit the bike, but i know the stubby can does have its fans...

IlleglAliens pipes have come to my attention on ebay and also on another forum i am a member of (but has alot lower traffic) I'd deffo be interested in purchasing one, i've also found another on ebay that looks the part, does anyone have any idea on the diameters required from the downpipes into such a link pipe?

That should be good Jaz, thanks for the link; i'm looking forward to putting a different end can on her, i initially set out to make this a cheap bike, cared for, but no expensive mods... thus far i've done the bar ends, grips, screen, tank badges, indicators and now the exhaust.
Just grown to love my 92 Revere.

Indeed, the next thing will probably be luggage based, a wing rack perhaps, or some panniers, we shall see'!
