Just noticed this one Killu, (we're getting posts at a terrific rate - it's difficult to keep up) apologies for a late response. The first video sounds very nice, probably not exactly legal in the UK, but not enough to get you into trouble. The second is likely to attract unwelcome attention from the police, and doesn't sound as nice in my opinion. It sounds as though the baffles have been removed in the first video. At about 0'15" it looks as though the hole in the end of the exhaust is rather large, so have the internals been removed through there? Unless the collector box was cut off and rewelded it isn't possible from the other end. If you want to make the exhaust a little quiet, you can buy sound absorbing felt (make sure it is heat resistant and suitable for use in exhausts) and perforated tube, but trying to design this to go back into the silencer could be a whole world of frustration. I found this UK company a while ago if you want to look at ideas. www.pjengineering.co.uk/index.aspThey sell everything to help make a complete exhaust. Don't forget that the exhaust is an important part of the overall "balance" of the engine; the back pressure it provides is carefully calculated with valve sizes, carb jetting etc. Good luck, and keep us posted with news of your ideas and the work you do.

No Problem McF...Be nice to use that Xmas present you got me...... ;D But do think of the neighbours and fit the silencer ;D Reminds me of an interview allegedly by a Reuters reporter with a USMC sniper "What did you feel when you shot and killed the Taleban insurgent?" "Recoil" Probably not true www.leatherneck.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32885, but never let that get in the way of a good story!
