Been putting this one off for a while now but i think its time to remove and sort the dribble coming out of one of my carburettors, thought it was coming from the drain plug(rear cylinder), and duly removed and replaced the seal, but the dribble remains, so i guess they'll have to come off for further examination, how easy are they to remove and do they go out of sync easily?

how easy are they to remove and do they go out of sync easily? The carbs themselves aren't too difficult to remove Once you have removed Seat, Side panels, tank, air filter Disconnect Choke cables (a little awkward) Throttle cables (straighforward Fuel line (ditto) then undo the clamps to the inlet manifold rubbers and remove They don't go out of synch too quickly, and it is fairly easy to confirm the balance (if you have a balance checker) You will need a fuel supply (I have a spare "petrol tank" which holds 1 litre) and refit the air filter the balancing screw is accessed through the hole in the top of the air filter

Have a look at this link for an NTV-650 running without tank: www.stoeretassen.nl/My_NTV650/Carburateurs/Carburettors.htmI hope to remove & clean my carburettors this winter. Will (of course) post photo's when I've done this. GvS P.S. Just in case you are new to this forum and you have not seen Graaf's site. Well worth looking at! rj.

I hope it isn't the bodies either and you manage to locate the source of your leak easily
