If I'm not mistaken I volunteered (by Jaz ;D) to preside as Judge in the event of any ties / disputes.
I shall not post choices or thoughts on preferences etc, beyond saying some high standards are being set here, but it is disappointing that the weather has prevented anyone taking a particular photo for use on the forum.
Jaz old fruit (I know, you are neither old, nor a fruit ;D ;D), as master of the Poll (I think you created several, and have been the only one to do so), when the time is right, would you please set up a poll for members to vote against?
I suggest that for continuity, the winner of the poll, becomes the next months judge. If Jaz can write a "how to" the judge can set the poll up too.

I think you may have been dragooned into Volunteering as a judge, perhaps...But that was due to your keen eye for detail in the original Background pic... And McF Old Boy (altho' you are neither Old nor still a boy.. ) as a judge you should take the stance you have and remain aloof and impartial to any bribes or offers of cash No matter how LARGE those sums may be... And as a pollman (wasn't that a song and a film? ) It would be an honour to set up a poll for our members to vote on best pic (oohh its just like the oscars.. ) Like the idea of the winner having to be the judge (that does mean the winner can not enter again.. ) And i feel a 'how to' coming on... ;D ;D

Sure you can, your just not looking hard enough.. If you look into the distance, just above the reflection in the water on the right hand side, you can just see a silhouette of me, and if you look REAL close you can catch the waters reflection, glistening on the bike just to my right. (i am looking at camera btw.. ) Not one of my best pics but that trip up to the lake district gave me many happy memories ...
