As NTV's are fairly rare around here I'm having trouble locating a replacement radiator. Before I go and invest my life savings in new part - does anyone know of an alternative, possibly from another Honda?

This has been discussed a few times previously.
I think there are several, including the Deauville which are compatible.
Worth doing a search through our forum (use the button at the top - in the title bar) as there are several threads worth following. Make sure you set the number of posts and days to search fairly high (they're at the bottom of the search options)
Good luck if you find something useful, please post back with news

Don't know if this might be helpful, But when I was getting anxious about the radiator on a previous bike some years back, an engineer friend suggested that I look at oil coolers. They are designed for much more pressure than radiators and for some reason often work out cheaper.
If you could find one about the same size and are able to work out alternative connections and fitting arrangements this might offer a neater solution than the original. Depends on how old your bike is, and how keen you are to keep it original. My radiator didn't give trouble in the end, so I didn't need to look into it. It's possible that one designed for a car rather than a bike might be even cheaper - car parts often are.
Just a thought. Sometimes a bit of lateral thinking that overflows into another area of engineering can solve an otherwise expensive or seemingly impossible problem.
I can't give any specific suggestions for the NTV but from the way that the radiator seems to be designed to be crunched even if the bike just fell over, someone out there must have found a way to fix it cheaply.
All the best,
Micawber.

Thanks for the info, looks like I'll have to pull the old pile of rust apart and head down to the wreckers. I'll post the results when I find a suitable replacement.

That Honda CB-1 Model seems to be even more rare than NTVs ... I can't find one for selling in my country ...
Maybe it was not sold here ...
It's a naked 400cc 4 Inline right ?

CB1 is rocking horse droppings... BAT motorcycles who imported most of them reckon there are only a couple of hundred running around in the UK. My ex had one! it was a heap of fun.
i've never solved the £400 radiator problem so i'll be interested to hear if anyone does!

It's taken a while but I'm in the process of fitting a VF 750s. I'll post pics when I figure out how to do it!

Great news and a free beer from the bar for the promise of pictures. It will be a very good addition to our parts list.
