They are good tyres from what I have heard, but they wear out quicker.... Let us know if you like it Since I only use the aunty for commuting these days, I'll stick with BT45s, as they are more shaped for motorway use (not as rounded)

I should put the BT45 on mine but with the few miles I do, it will probably be the last tyre she has anyway so what the heck.

After 140ish mile ride this weekend I can report that I think the BT021 rear is fab.
My chicken strip on my fron BT45 is now less than 2mm but the last 30 of the tyre prior to this is looking a bit perforated.
The BT021 stll looks solid and both tyres hold the road well.

Can't say what an 021 is like on an NTV but have got 020s on my Blackbird and can't fault them. The 021s are supposed to be better.
As far as my NTV goes, after being impressed by Metzellers on my GT750 years ago I put LazerTecs on my NTV. I was surprised reading that tyre article that they marked them so low because I thought they were brilliant, stuck like glue, brilliant handling/feedback. BUT, after having had several pairs on two of my NTVs doing 250 miles per week I was getting a bit fed up with the rear only doing about 5k so after the article I thought I'd give the Dunlop GT501s a go.
Still not to sure about them as I don’t get the feedback I got from the LaserTecs. They feel like the bike sits higher, smoother ride but don't flick from corner to corner as well and just wasn't sure early on if they were going to stick. After 5K on them I feel a lot more confident, you can tip the bike over and they stick once they've warmed up, still have plenty of tread on them too. Very good in the wet but so were the Lasertecs.
Looking forward to riding my other NTV for a while cause it still has the LaserTecs on so may be able to get a better comparison. Did have a Continental something on a spare rear wheel I bought and that was very good too.

Just replaced my rear GT501 after 8K miles, lasted well and still rides well over uneven surfaces, front will need replacing soon too. Considering the previous Lasertecs rear lasted only 5Kish the front lasted a lot longer so probably about the same value for money. Need to get my other NTV back on the road so I can see which tyres I prefer.

I still love my BT021 back tyre and run it out to the edge.
Its good in the wet and dry.
I currently have an odd mix with a BT45 on the front! That said I have run that out to a 4mm chicken strip.
I plan to get another BT021 in the spring then have even more fun next summer.
Must be time for a track day ;D
NTV club meet at the track. No that would be fun.

My Bridgestone BT-45's have worn out. But it was not a bad result: ±13.000 km with the rear tyre and ±22.000 with the front tyre. I've had an offer for € 240,= to replace both with a set of Michelin Pilot Activ. The price seems to be reasonable. Does anybody have any experience with these tyres ? I think quite a few of the members of the dutch forum are using them. GvS

Have used these on my old cb500, found them excellent, good grip and wear rate. Hard to beat the BT45's on an ntv. Tried using an Avon Roadrider, thought they were ok (great mileage -15,000 mles rear) much more confidence on returning to BT'S.

Thanks for the link, but Haarlem is not very close for me (I live near Zwolle). Are these prices the "fitted" prices ? Or are they "off the shelve" prices ? The total according to this list is € 205. If these are the "off the shelve" prices, a difference of € 35 for fitting / balancing etc is not a bad deal. I always think you've got to be carefull with these very cheap suppliers: The "euromaster's" and "quick-fit's" of this world lure you with very cheap prices. But at the end you'll find extra money charged for things like balancing a wheel of even a new valve ! GvS

These are off the shelve prices, but fitting is nearly free Last time I took a wheel in (so they only have to do the actual tyre etc) and I believe I paid 5 euro for a valve (only when needed) and something like €10 for fitting/balancing etc. (1 wheel) but I believe on the back tyre it was free. So perhaps not that much cheaper in total And Jossmit is actually one of the better dealers around here But mostly for tyres and clothing. But considering the distance....you would loose the advantage in petrol costs... The link was also mostly meant for ease...to see what is on offer and a comparison for the prices

mot time soon so got new tyres on ..dunlop gpr100 on front and metzeler roadtec on rear..£51.50 for supply,fit,balance dunlop and just fit the metzeler..to loose wheels..cheap
