First off hi to everyone new on here and new to NTV's. had many bikes in the past but due to my general lack of balance have fallen off of most of then Now i ride trikes last one was VT500 but after 30 years the poor old engine had reached the point where it had to retire and have replaced it with a NTV650V engine and wiring loom and there my problem have started: first problem when she's in neutral she only runs on one cylinder (the front one) get spark from the rear one but im guessing no fuel or not enough to ignite. checked the sparks new three days ago quite a lot of soot so cleaned and replaced still not running on rear, until i put her in gear then she runs on both. when she does run on both shes fine till i try to move her: first time i tried she ran really lumpy and tried to die whenever i opened her up past 1500- 200 revs cleaned carbs and tried again. let out the loudest backfire ive ever heard from a bike then ran (on 1) put her in gear (ran on both) opened her up took off like id slapped her arse got about 200 yards up the road slowed to turn round and she died, bumped started her ran lumpy stalled 2 more times getting back to my place (200 yards) and i havent ran her since. part of me thinking then either airflow or oil mixture to rear carb is out but no-one seems to know why she runs on one till i put her in gear. Please help cant ride= cant live

I'd put a lot of money on a wiring issue. The neutral switch is wired through the clutch diode and into the ignition module.
