I have fitted new brake pads and a braided hose on my newly acquired 1997 NTV 650,the caliper pistons have been cleaned, lubed and pushed back, sliding pins greased, but cannot now get any resistance at brake lever, despite numerous attempts at bleeding and tying back lever overnight, there is no air coming from bleed nipple, now at a loss as to what to do!

I did not do anything to the master cylinder, but I have left the brake lever tied back to the bar overnight, with the m/cyl swivelled round on the bar so that the banjo was highest, better brake now, but stil not perfect.

Strip and clean the master cylinder to be sure, there's probably some crap in there.
