that's great to hear from someone even the admin have sold there ntv's and the ntv snob's ooohh i done this and that to my ntv. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-NTV600J-Revere-1989-twin-disc-conversion-/201155143592?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2ed5c7e7a8well it's hard enough keeping these old winter hacks on the road i just replaced my valve rocker cover / cleaned the carbs and balanced them. now the old hack run's great apart from the coolent fan not working not that that bothers me in the uk. and there is no way a ntv will take up space in a garage my one is outside so the wind can blow it over and if i had a garage i would have a better bike than a ntv butwho cares renthal ultra low handlebar's is £25 on ebay a replacement for ntv handlebars so when the hack get's blown over job done.

What do you mean,Undercover, winter hack- The Micawbermobile has just had a clean up and de-rust. Still used every day, all through the year. It's my only motorbike. Starts, runs, handles predictably, good on fuel and tyres. Shaft drive, single sided swinging arm, good tank range, reasonably low seat. Still fun to ride. Parts still easy to get on ebay or even from Honda. Fairly easy to work on. Done 56,000 miles, just run in if some posters' experience is anything to go by. Everything works as it should. Even if I had a few thousand to spend on a new bike I'm struggling to think of anything that would do a better job than mine does at the moment. Shopping, work, longer rides, etc. Due to my son's shiny fair weather sports bike cluttering up the garage my NTV has spent the last year or two living outside. Had some gales over the years and it's never blown over yet. It's an awfully heavy beast! So yes, there are still some of us out here. Micawber.
