I object to paying nearly 300 quid for a new radiator and fan when the radiator is ok. No breakers seem to have a fan in stock for the actual bike (1996 reg NTV 650) so are there any other fans that can be adapted to suit?
Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, new question then - would a radiator and fan from another make/model of bike work? I have a guy who can make brackets etc to physically attach it, but will it do the job? Would a radiator have to be the same size or would a smaller one work?
Not fussed about how it looks as long as it does the job!

I doubt I will bother fixing mine staying in Scotland isn't the hottest place if your temp gauge works that's a start. Look on eBay for universal motorbike fan and do some measuring. Iam sure you can mod the ntv fan frame to fit 12 volt fan is all you need

i bought a fan on ebay the seller told me it worked it didn't i opened it up as all the wires showed continuity to find the bushes had seized solid in there housing with the springs behind them i hit them with anti seize spray and got them out.
lesson learned the seller was a liar and i had some fun knowing how to fix the fan motor
i have a 97 ntv650 with 42000 miles on the clock and the fan is rotten so i doubt any of them on ebay work.

This the reason I sold my bikes and bought a car. I could fix anything on my ntv650 but with no help from this forum. The best advice I got here was to replace the fan with a er fan. Sadly maybe some of the ntv owners on here have been out in the cold too long they have brain freeze. It scares me people so stupid actually ride biked
