Ok, so i've got my revere rebuilt and it's mainly working just fine. To the engine i've done the following: valves & cylinder heads machined (good as new), valve clearances adjusted, carbs cleaned, air filters new (high flow cones), slip on muffler (hi-flow), main jets 145(front) 140(rear) 45(idle), carbs syncronized with manometer. Measured the compression of 12bar both cylinders, spark plugs new, sparks are ok. Fuel pump is new, hoses are new, fuel filter is new.
The trouble is, low power. I cant keep up with a mazda 3. Bike has a top speed of 140kmh. My honda nsr125 i drove 10 years ago was faster!
What would you recommend? Power at low revs seems just fine.

Might seem to be a silly question but are you sure it isn't restricted to 33bhp output? Otherwise, if you can get hold of a Haynes Manual it has almost a full page in the trouble shooting section on "Poor running or no power at high speed".

Problem solved!
I thought its better to check the carburetor diaphragms but the problem was a sticking slide. Carburetor which feeds the front cylinder opened just about halfway... Have to say, now it goes like stink! Suprisingly fast bike
