Hi, I`m thinking of rebuilding my ntv650 forks with cbr600f2 internals or possibly a twin disc front end, the reasons? my ntv has sat outside all winter and the forks were not the best originaly and now have spots of rust and i like to mess I have looked at a cbr conversion but the upgrade to my std forks would be much cheeper any body done either? I've put 15w oil in mine and I'm happy. I think with steel lines, fresh fluid, caliper rebuild and HH pads that's enough for most things.

wot about a divile front end they are twin front discs CBR600 f2/3 front end gives you cartridge internals, which Deauville doesn't. The downside is 3cm longer stanchions on the CBR forks, which means changing the handlebars on a Revere. Not sure if it's a similar problem on an NTV650.

The plan was cbr600 forks, rebuilt into mine, now on hold as a drunk driver crashed into my scooter last night, so no sale today so no dosh for front end Cheers Ray
